Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or otherwise using Arlo (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. The Service

Arlo is a personal trade-tracking and analytics service: you connect a brokerage, upload broker exports or enter your trading transactions, and Arlo organises them into positions and strategies and shows realized profit and loss and patterns to help you understand your trading. Arlo is not a broker, does not execute trades, and does not provide investment advice or recommendations.

3. Your account

You're responsible for the credentials you use to access the Service and for everything that happens under your account. Use a strong password, keep it secret, and tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement in your jurisdiction.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• upload data that you don't have the right to upload;
• attempt to access another user's account or data without permission;
• probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service except as part of an authorised security review;
• use automated means to scrape or replicate the Service;
• use the Service to send unsolicited communications or commit fraud.

5. Subscriptions and billing

The Manual plan is free. The Import and Connected plans are paid subscriptions, billed monthly or yearly in advance by card through Stripe, at the price shown on the Pricing page and at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Yearly plans receive a reminder about a month before they renew.

Cancellation. You can cancel at any time from Manage Billing in the app. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, then moves to the free Manual plan. Your data is kept.

No refunds. Payments are not refunded, including for a partly used period.

Changing plans. An upgrade takes effect immediately, with a prorated charge for the rest of the period. A downgrade takes effect at the next renewal.

Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries it over about twelve days and emails you each time. If it still fails, paid features (brokerage sync and file import) pause until the open invoice is paid; your brokerage links and data are kept.

Founding prices. A founding or promotional price applies for as long as that subscription continues without cancellation. It does not carry over to a new subscription.

Price changes. We may change our prices. A change will not affect a period you have already paid for, and we will tell you before it applies to your subscription.

6. Your data

You retain ownership of the trading data you bring into Arlo. By using the Service you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display that data for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We will not sell or share your trading data with third parties for their independent use. See the Privacy Policy for the full details.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including the software, design, brand, documentation, and trademarks, is owned by Arlo Trade, LLC and protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of it except as the law expressly permits.

8. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from your profile. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or for legal reasons. We'll give you reasonable notice except where doing so would compromise security or violate law.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the data it shows is accurate or complete. Nothing in the Service constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. You are responsible for your trading decisions.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or trading losses.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in the app and by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Idaho.
